Cold Smoked Scallops

If you have never tried our cold smoked scallops, you are in for a treat.  These scallops are cold smoked at St Jean Cannery  in Nanaimo. They come in frozen 113 g packages.  They are ready to eat and can be thawed and popped in your mouth (our kids favourite way).  We often enjoy them with crackers and cream cheese.  


When we want to get a little more fancy, we pair them with a nice soft cheese like a Camembert and some red pepper jelly.  They also go great on top of a salad, warmed up in a pasta or served on a beautiful baguette with some pesto sauce.   

If you're feeling really adventurous, try them with the Maple Shallot Mignonette receipt. If you have some shells kicking around from your regular scallops, place them on a cleaned half shell with a drizzle of the mignonette.  Mmmmmmm.
